Pastor Roger and Sandra Olsen
Pastor Roger Olsen entered the ministry in 1970 as Associate Pastor of Bethesda Church in Madison. In 1975 he began his ministry at Madison Gospel Tabernacle (now Lake City Church). A small group of people in New Glarus asked Pastor Roger to help them establish and pastor a church in 1993. The agreement to help for six months has now extended to 15 years. Pastor Roger says, “Like every new work, we have experienced our share of challenges; but God has been faithful and we have experienced His blessings in growth both spiritual and numerical.” Enthused about what God is doing in and through the Church today, Pastor Roger is excited about what lies ahead. “It is a joy and privilege to be a part of helping and equipping young people, men and women to rise and step into their calling and fulfill God’s purpose for their lives! I look forward to seeing more of His plans and vision fulfilled in Grace and in the New Glarus area.”
Pastor Roger loves antique cars but professes his cars end up in the junkyard before attaining antique status!
Pastor Roger is married to Sandra enjoying 43 years of marriage, two sons, two daughters and 11 grandchildren. Sandra, along with their oldest son, owns and manages Kids Junction. Kids Junction is a Christian pre-school and after-school program with enrollment of over 300 children. tp
Michael Beil
Life is phenomenal. Many may not agree with this statement due to individual circumstances. But, it has become so evident that the love of Jesus radiates beyond everything else (even being in a wheelchair). As a young man beginning ministry as a part of the staff at Grace Church, Michael is desirous for others to encounter the extravagant and outrageous love that is in Christ. The mandate that Jesus has given to Michael is to know him and to make him known to others.
Having recently graduated from North Central University in Minneapolis, MN, with a degree in Pastoral Studies, Michael is ready to share the truth and the hope of the Good News that is the power to transform the world! Now is the time that we can be running and not growing weary, walking and not becoming faint! - Isaiah 40:31.
Pastor Kent and Gale Duval
Pastor Kent Duval oversees the Celebrate Recovery program and the Prayer Ministry at Grace Church. Helping people get closer to God, leading people to Christ and working with God in building disciples is very rewarding to Kent. He also enjoys corresponding with prisoners and views this as another avenue of opportunity.
Pastor Kent is living his dream: working from home in an internet business. Home is the Homestead Farm of more than 150 years where he enjoys hunting, reading and studying the Bible with his wife, Gale, on one of their outside porches.
Married for 30 years, Kent and Gale have four children: three daughters and one son. The oldest daughter is married, two are in college and they home-school their son. Raising successful adults with godly character has always been one of their major goals. They also share the family homestead with their chocolate Lab, Mya.
Pastor John and Angie Lewis
John has been working at Grace Church for eleven years as youth
pastor. Angie is a pediatric nurse. John
and Angie have been married for 8 years and have two children, a 7 year-old
daughter Alayna and a 5 year-old son Noah.
John and Angie both enjoy studying and living out the Word of God and
encouraging other believers to do the
same. As a family, we desire to live our
lives sold out to Jesus and consequently proclaim the gospel of salvation to
the world around us. We enjoy time with
our family and friends, exercising, swimming at the New Glarus Pool, reading,
laughing often, and spending our summer vacations in the Upper Peninsula of
Michigan.
